Beyoncé and Jay-Z: Highest-paid celebrity couple

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been named the World's Highest-Paid Celebrity Couple by Forbes in its annual earnings list.

The A-list musicians banked $78 million between May 2011 and May 2012 from record sales, touring, endorsement deals and other non-musical ventures.

Blue Ivy's parents bumped last year's list toppers, NFL quarterback Tom Brady and supermodel Gisele Bunchen, to the No. 2 spot ($72 million). David and Victoria Beckham earned a place at the podium, coming in third with $54 million.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were close behind, with $45 million, and Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith came in fifth place, earning $30 million.

Sorry, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. You coulda been a contender.
