Anna Faris and Chris Pratt welcome baby boy Jack

Anna Faris and husband Chris Pratt are new parents, though a little earlier than they probably planned on. The couple confirms to People that their son Jack was born Saturday (Aug. 25). They're rep says in a statement:

Anna Faris and Chris Pratt are happy to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy Jack. He arrived earlier than expected and will be spending some time in the NICU. The happy parents thank you for your warm wishes and ask that you honor their privacy during this time.

Faris, star of the "Scary Movie" franchise, and Pratt, who stars on NBC's "Parks and Recreation," married in 2009. Reports say Faris was due in late September/early October, so the little guy was probably over a month from being full term. Hopefully everything goes OK for them.
