'The Oranges' brings Leighton Meester and Hugh Laurie together

The two families at the heart of "The Oranges," the new comedy starring Hugh Laurie and Oliver Platt as BFFs, Catherine Keener and Allison Janney as their respective spouses, are close. Very close. So close that Laurie's character has an affair with Leighton Meester, the twentysomething daughter of his best friend.

Platt and Janney don't take the news so well as their daughter tries to have a relationship with her older man. Neither do Laurie and Keener's kids, played by Adam Brody and Alia Shawkat. Keener seems to be doing pretty well for herself during her separation, however.

Based on the cast alone, "The Oranges" seems like a pretty solid entry into the "dysfunctional family dramedy" genre. Watch below and tell us what you think?
