Miley Cyrus celebrates Independence Day in star-spangled Twitter pic

Looking like her own personal party in the U.S.A., Miley Cyrus posted the above festive pic to Twitter on Wednesday (July 4) with a simple "Happy 4th" message to her more than 6.3 million followers.

In the star-spangled picture, Miley's wearing a denim bustier-style top, pouty red lips and a U.S.A. headband while standing in front of a banner of American flags. When asked by a fan if she took the photo herself, the 19-year-old singer and actress replies, "yes I did." She even later made the self-portrait her Twitter profile pic.

And Miley had a lot to celebrate this Independence Day. Not only is she newly engaged to actor Liam Hemsworth, but Wednesday also marks the release of her latest single, a collaboration with Rock Mafia called "Morning Sun."
