Michael Clarke Duncan hospitalized after heart attack

Actor Michael Clarke Duncan is in a Los Angeles hospital after suffering cardiac arrest early Friday (July 13).

Duncan suffered the heart attack shortly before 2 a.m. Friday -- and his girlfriend, reality-TV stalwart Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, is being credited with helping to keep him alive.

According to TMZ, Omarosa found Duncan in distress and performed CPR on him before he was taken to the hospital. She and Duncan have been dating for about two years.

Duncan is currently in intensive care, but his heart has stabilized and he's undergoing more tests to find the cause of the heart attack.

Duncan, 54, starred in FOX's "The Finder" last season. His movie credits include "The Green Mile," "Armageddon" and "Kung Fu Panda."
