Miami Dolphins star Chad Ochocinco changes name back to Chad Johnson

chad-ochocinco-jpgMiami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Ochocinco has changed his name, back to his old one. Now known once again as Chad Javon Johnson, the football player originally changed his name in August 2008 to reflect his jersey number (85).

In 2010, Johnson also announced he planned to change his name again to "Hachi Go" -- the Japanese words for 8 and 5. He didn't go through with it.

Although Johnson was recently traded from the Patriots, he is incredibly popular. He has his own IPhone game, has over three million followers on Twitter, and has starred in the reality shows "Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch" and "Ev & Ocho." He also competed on Season 10 of  "Dancing with the Stars."

Johnson recently married Evelyn Lozada on July 4. Lozada stars in the VH1 show "Basketball Wives" due to her past relationship with former Celtics star Antoine Walker. It is rumored that Johnson changed his name in order for Lozada to take his given last name.

Johnson played for the Cincinnati Bengals and the New England Patriots, before moving to the Miami Dolphins in 2012.
