Kate Middleton dons Stella McCartney dress and Olympics-inspired necklace
Kate Middleton got in the Olympic spirit Thursday (July 19) by attending the opening of the National Portrait Gallery's "Road to 2012: Aiming High," an exhibition documenting London's preparations for the 2012 Olympic games. And she was certainly dressed for the occasion, wearing an electric blue dress by Stella McCartney, who designed the official British uniforms for the Olympics. Middleton paired the frock with a statement gold Cartier necklace with Olympic-style rings.
The pendant necklace is from the duchess' own collection, and the Daily Mail reports that "she thought it appropriate to wear it today given the Olympic theme."
