Kanye West ready to propose to Kim Kardashian - report

Kanye West is reportedly so serious about new girlfriend Kim Kardashian that he's readying an engagement ring for the reality star and plans to propose -- just as soon as her divorce from Kris Humphries is final.

West has commissioned a jeweler to create a custom bling ring for Kardashian made up of diamonds and rubies from his late mother Donda's personal jewelry collection, according to Radar Online.

"Kanye has found a woman he respects and loves just as much as his mom, so he wants to share her jewelry collection with Kim," a source tells the site.

West is also reportedly pushing for a wedding in Chicago, where he grew up, or Oklahoma, where his mother is buried -- apparently he wants her there "in spirit." Kardashian's wedding to Humphries in August 2011 was a lavish event held in Montecito, Calif., that ended up airing as a two-part special on E!.
