Joseph Gordon-Levitt tweets statement on Colorado theater shooting
Another one of the stars of "The Dark Knight Rises" released a statement on Monday (July 23) offering condolences to the victims of the July 20 tragedy in Aurora, Colo., that left 12 people dead and 58 injured at a screening of the latest Batman installment."My most sincere sympathies go out to the families of the victims in Aurora," Joseph Gordon-Levitt writes on Twitter.
He joins stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway and Gary Oldman in addressing the tragedy, along with director Christopher Nolan.
In the meantime, tension remains high at screenings of the movie across the country. On Friday night, a man was arrested after causing "mass hysteria" at an Arizona showing, while on Sunday there were incidents in both Pittsburgh and Norwalk, Calif., reports EW.
