Jessica Simpson tweets a family Fourth of July pic

Jessica Simpson took her new daughter Maxwell to her first fireworks show on the Fourth of July.

Simpson tweeted a picture of herself, her fiance Eric Johnson and Maxwell (who's now two months old) at a fireworks display. "Hope everyone had a great 4th!!" she writes.

Maxwell has made a cameo or two on Simpson's Twitter feed, but the new mom hasn't overshared pictures of the baby to her 5 million-plus followers. The baby, who weighed 9 pounds, 13 ounces at birth, made her magazine debut on the cover of People in late May.

Both mom and baby are dressed for the patriotic occasion: Simpson is wearing a red sweater adorned with white stars, and Maxwell is in white PJs with red polka dots.
