Halle Berry hospitalized after injury on 'The Hive' set
Actress Halle Berry was rushed to the hospital Tuesday night (July 17) after taking a nasty fall while shooting a movie, reports TMZ. According to a source, she hit her head on the concrete, though the extent of the injury is unknown at this time. Witnesses do say she was throwing up following the fall, which can be a sign of a concussion.Berry was immediately taken by ambulance to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles around 10 p..m. local time. She has been currently shooting "The Hive," a thriller which features Berry as an emergency call center operator who takes a call from a teenage girl (Abigail Breslin) who has been abducted and carried away in the trunk of a car.
Berry's current condition is not known. We will keep you updated as more details become available.
UPDATE: A rep for Berry has released the following statement: "Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, 'The Hive.' She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She'll continue production as planned."
