Gwen Stefani and No Doubt return with new single 'Settle Down'
Ready to party like it's 2001? Multiplatinum band No Doubt released its first new track in more than a decade Monday (July 16). The song called "Settle Down" is the lead single from the band's upcoming sixth studio album, "Push and Shove," which comes out Sept. 25.The upbeat six-minute track will feel familiar to fans who rode the band's ska wave of the '90s. Gwen Stefani's distinctive voice sings, "I'm fine, and nothing's gonna knock this girl down/I'm hella positive for real, I'm all good" along with the track's chorus, "Get in line, and settle down."
According to Rolling Stone, the video for "Settle Down," which premieres Monday at 8 p.m. ET on E!, will feature Stefani along with bandmates Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Tom Dumount as truckers en route to a celebratory reunion.
"The idea is they are all driving to meet after having had their separate lives over the last 10 years," director Sophie Muller says.
