Zac Efron and Lily Collins are dunzo.

The actors have broken up after three months together, sources confirm to Us. "They're no longer together. They were never serious, though; it was just a casual thing and it fizzled," says a friend. "They were never in the same place at the same time."

Indeed, the couple were only photographed together one time after first being spotted holding hands at a friend's dinner party in February. "Zac was never very serious about her. He didn't talk about her to friends," a source says.

Ouch! He did deftly dodge some questions about her during a Valentine's Day appearance on "Ellen."

We're still kind of rooting for him and Taylor Swift.
