Trace Cyrus and Brenda Song call off engagement

While Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are newly engaged, there's a little bit of a love problem in the Cyrus household. Her brother Trace and fiance Brenda Song have called it quits.

"Brenda and I have decided to go our separate ways," Cyrus says in a statement. "We split up a couple of months ago. We will continue to focus on our careers. I wish Brenda the best and much success in the future. I hope everyone can respect our privacy about this situation."

The couple announced via Twitter in October 2011 that they were engaged. But it looks like it's not to be.

Song, who is probably best known for her work on the Disney Channel shows "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" and "The Suite Life on Deck," had a supporting role in "The Social Network."

Cyrus, 23, is currently in the band Ashland HIGH.
