'The Devil Wears Prada' sequel: Lauren Weisberger confirms new book

Fans of "The Devil Wears Prada" will be tickled to learn that the 2003 bestseller is getting new life in a sequel set for 2013. In "Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns," author Lauren Weisberger will pick up the story of former magazine assistant Andy Sachs, who was played by Anne Hathaway in a 2006 movie adaptation.

The new book is set eight years after the first book and has Andy -- now the editor of a bridal magazine -- crossing paths with her former boss, the formidable Miranda Preistly once again, reports the BBC.

Also returning, Andy's one-time nemesis -- Emily, who is now her BFF and works alongside her at the bridal mag.

Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt co-starred with Hathaway in the big screen version of the original.
