Snoop Dogg busted in Norway with... pot!

Snoop Dogg was stopped on his way into Norway on Thursday (June 28) when a canine unit sniffed out some weed on the pot-loving rapper. No arrest -- the Dogg-father just faces a fine for carrying the small amount of pot, though he was hit with a bigger fine for carrying too much cash. Wait, what?

According to E! News, Snoop (real name Calvin Broadus) was carrying 8 grams of weed -- anything under 15 grams is considered "personal use" in Norway and punishable by a maximum fine of just 5,000 kroner ($827). But, he apparently also had a large amount of cash on his person which apparently exceeded legal limits and given an additional fine of 52,000 kroner ($8,600)."

When asked by a reporter why he was five hours late to Oslo's Hove Festival, he replied:

"Man, shut the f--k up. I'm here -- be happy I'm here and ask some real questions."

The reporter quizzed Snoop about the border stop, prompting this reply:

"I was late 'cause I went to go get some chicken wings -- 'cause I wanted to see Norway up close and personal, and visit an old folks' home. I went to visit a convalescent home. That's why I was late."

Snoop was previously arrested for pot possession in El Paso, Texas, back in January.
