Robin Quivers returns to Howard Stern show following surgery
There's good news for fans of Howard Stern's satellite radio show. His long-time sidekick Robin Quivers will be back in studio on Monday (June 4), this as she recovers from a late-May surgery to remove a sizable tumor.
News of her imminent return came out on Friday (June 1) via Sirius XM SVP Tim Sabean's Twitter account.
Sabean writes, "Robin returns Monday!!!"
Quivers went under the knife on May 25 to remove a growth that was pressing on her bladder. She has not revealed whether the tumor is cancerous or benign.
The radio personality first told listeners about the condition on May 14. "When you see me, I'm peeing," Quivers says, explaining that she was wearing a catheter during the broadcast. "It could be something not so bad. It could be really bad...Hopefully it's something that can just be cut out."
