Paula Abdul turns 50: Let's look back at her best songs

If you're the right age, you spent some very formative years listening to Paula Abdul's "Forever Your Girl" (1988) and "Spellbound" (1991) albums. Now the former pop star, choreographer and Laker girl is turning 50 years old Tuesday, June 19, so let's take a look at her greatest hits.

"Forever Your Girl," which went seven times platinum in the U.S., had four No. 1 hits - the title track, "Straight Up," "Cold Hearted" and "Opposites Attract." It's hard to pick a favorite out of those, but we would have to go with "Cold Hearted." That music video definitely seemed scandalous when we were young.

The album also had a No. 3 hit, "It's Just the Way That You Love Me," which was also a fun one, and we liked "Knocked Out" too.

In 1991, Abdul released a less dance-y album, "Spellbound," which brought us "Vibeology," "Blowing Kisses in the Wind," "Promise of a New Day" and the Keanu Reeve-starring video "Rush Rush."

Can you pick a favorite Abdul hit? Happy Birthday, Paula!
