Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo expecting a baby boy

Nick Lachey announced in March that wife Vanessa Lachey (formerly Vanessa Minnillo) is pregnant with the couple's first child due in late summer/early fall, and now In Touch reveals that the Lacheys can start buying blue everything. They're expecting a boy!

Sources tell the mag that Nick and Vanessa are "so thrilled" to be having a son, and while they've been discussing names, they "haven't picked one yet."

During his March appearance on "Live! with Kelly," Nick tells Kelly Ripa, "If I have a son first, he's going to be named Colin [is what I used to think]. Now Colin, it's not a good name [to Vanessa]. It's a tough thing, these names."  

Nick's ex, Jessica Simpson, recently welcomed her own little bundle -- uniquely named baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson -- with fiance Eric Johnson.
