Matthew Fox pleads no contest in DUI case

It's been a decent week for Matthew Fox as it relates to his problems with the criminal justice system. The former "Lost" star won't get jail time in exchange for a "no contest" plea for DUI.

TMZ is reporting that Fox, as part of his plea for the May 4 incident in Bend, OR, can't drive or drink for one year. The publication adds that Fox must also complete a drug and alcohol treatment program.

This news comes just a day after it was reported that a female bus driver dropped an assault charge against Fox. Heather Bormann had said the actor hit her repeatedly in the chest and groin after she denied him access to a chartered party bus in Cleveland.

Provided that Fox complies with all the court-ordered activities in the DUI case, the charges will be dropped.
