Lindsay Lohan car crash: 'Liz & Dick' actress released from hospital

Lindsay Lohan has been released from Santa Monica UCLA hospital following a car accident Friday (June 8) afternoon, reports TMZ.

Lindsay's rep says the actress was on her way to the set of Lifetime's Elizabeth Taylor biopic "Liz & Dick" when her rented Porsche collided with a truck. Lindsay says she wasn't at fault, though, and that the truck cut her off.

"A preliminary investigation revealed that both vehicles were driving northbound on Pacific Coast Highway when the Porsche struck the rear end of the dump truck. Cause of the accident is under investigation," the Santa Monica Police Department says in a statement.

Both Lindsay and her passenger -- her assistant -- were taken to the hospital as a precaution, but the rep says neither have serious injuries. In fact, Lindsay's already heading back to the set.

Way to walk it off.
