Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus married already? No, but Hemsworth accidentally says they are

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus, who announced their engagement on June 6, appeared at the 2012 Australians in Film Awards Thursday (June 28), where Hemsworth was being honored as a breakthrough actor of the year. And in his speech, he had a bit of a slip of the tongue when talking about how he met Miley.

"I was fortunate enough to get called back in and read with my now fiance who I recently got engaged to. And we read together and fell in love and now we're married [pause] We're not married yet, but we will be," says Hemsworth.

That'd be a heckuva way to break the news of a secret wedding, no? But it probably was just a verbal misstep.

As for the wedding, Hemsworth tells Extra on the red caret that "it's a secret right now" and that they are trying to work out the details.
