Kelly Clarkson goes blonde in London with new, lighter hairdo

Along with Kelly Clarkson's svelte new body, the singer and "American Idol" alum has changed up her hair look too. The singer was spotted out and about in London with a much lighter new 'do, thanks to a blonde dye job.

Clarkson went with a more caramel color rather than a straight-up bleach blonde, People notes. She's still sporting the bangs she cut back in February, but they're much less blunt.

The "Duets" star has been looking much thinner recently, heating up the stage at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards in a sexy red dress with a plunging neckline and low back. She recently told Redbook that she's dropped 30 pounds, but her goal is "to be healthy and happy," she says. "I have no desire to be super-skinny."

Clarkson isn't the only one who's drastically changed her look recently. Portia De Rossi chopped off her long blonde locks (but has kept her trademark light color).
