David Arquette files for divorce from Courteney Cox

Just days after celebrating his bar mitzvah in Jerusalem, David Arquette has officially filed divorce papers to end his marriage to Courteney Cox, from whom he's been amicably separated since October 2010.

In the docs, Arquette cites "irreconcilable differences" for the split. He asks for joint legal and physical custody of their daughter, 8-year-old Coco, but does not petition for spousal or child support, reports TMZ.

The couple married on June 12, 1999 -- 13 years ago -- after meeting on the set of "Scream." When they separated in 2010, Arquette and Cox released a joint statement saying they were "best friends" who were committed to raising their daughter together.

The couple made a joint appearance on Howard Stern's radio show in 2011, with Arquette making it clear he wanted to reconcile. Cox not so much.
