Charlize Theron shaves her head: Rocks new bald look for 'Mad Max 4: Fury Road'

"Prometheus"/"Snow White and the Huntsman" star Charlize Theron is committed to her upcoming role in "Mad Max 4: Fury Road." So committed that she has apparently shaved off her shoulder-length locks to portray Furiosa in the movie.

Theron was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills on Monday (June 11), wearing a grey felt hat over her newly-cropped locks and toting son six-month-old son Jackson.

In May, Theron told reporters at a "Prometheus" press event that shooting was set to begin soon on "Fury Road."

"We start shooting I think around mid-July in Namibia. I'm f***ing dying, too, it's been three years," said Theron, referencing the fact that the project was initially supposed to film in 2009. "It's time to skin this cat already, so yeah, I'm very excited about it."
