Box Office: 'Snow White and the Huntsman' wins the weekend

"Snow White and the Huntsman" easily captured the box office crown. Exhibitor Relations estimates that the Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron film will take in $56.3 million over the course of the weekend ending June 3. The movie triumphed over last week's winner "Men in Black 3." The Will Smith film brought in just over $29 million.

"The Avengers" continues to hold strong in third place. With a $20 million take, the picture has now grossed more than $550 million.

Continuing to struggle is "Battleship." The big budget picture came in fourth with a paltry $4.8 million. Rounding out the top five is "The Dictator." The comedy earned $4.7 million.
