Bam Margera hospitalized following kayak jump

Color us unsurprised.

"Jackass" star Bam Margera has found himself in the hospital after kayaking off a 100-foot waterfall on Wednesday (May 30). Margera, who had to undergo a hernia operation, was riding in a tandem kayak with pro Steve Fisher during the stunt.

Margera was to attend an art show in West Chester, PA on Friday (June 1), but he writes on Twitter that he's still recuperating. "Can't make it to the show tonight, in hospital still," he says. Margera also offered a photo of him laying in the recovery room.

This is far from the first time Margera's injured himself doing something most people would never consider. And we get the sense that this also won't be the last time he gets hurt either.

It's unclear whether Fisher was injured in the incident.
