Amanda Bynes tweets Barack Obama asking for DUI help

Actress Amanda Bynes had a busy day on Tuesday (June 5). Not only was she officially charged with driving under the influence, but she jumped online and tweeted President Barack Obama to ask for his help in getting the charges (which are apparently part of some kind of conspiracy theory) cleared.

Hey @BarackObama... I don't drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me. I also don't hit and run. The end.

It isn't clear whether or not Bynes realizes that a.) That's not how Twitter works, b.) That's not how law enforcement works and c.) This reads like a drunk tweet.

The "What I Like About You" actress was arrested on April 6 after dinging a police cruiser with her BMW. The formal complaint against her, reports E!, alleges that the 26-year-old refused to submit to a chemical test to determine her sobriety. Since then, Bynes has had a few more vehicular run-ins, most recently rear-ending a car on a Hollywood freeway before driving away, per TMZ.

Replies to Bynes' tweet included lots of "LOLs" and an offer to appear on one Levar Evans' online show. So far, no response from the prez.
