Alex Trebek's heart attack won't keep him from 'Jeopardy!' taping

alex-trebek-getty.jpgLongtime "Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek, 71, suffered a mild heart attack over the weekend. He was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for testing, but Sony Television's spokesperson Paula Askanas tells the Los Angeles Times that Trebek is expected to make a full recovery.

Askanas says Trebek is in "good spirits" and is expected to be on set when "Jeopardy!" begins taping its 29th season in July. Trebek also suffered a heart attack in 2007, for which he took several weeks off from taping before resuming.

Trebek has recently spoke about retiring. People have been encouraging him to go a full 30 years as host of the popular trivia game show.
