Alec Baldwin's Twitter offensive: He tweets number of NY Daily News editor
The war between Alec Baldwin and the New York Daily News continues to escalate. On Wednesday (June 20), Baldwin appeared on David Letterman's "Late Show" to deny he'd punched a Daily News photographer and on Thursday, Baldwin tweeted the number of Daily News editor Colin Myler."Call Colin Myler, 212.210.XXXX, and tell him what a great job he's doing bringing down the once great Daily News," tweets Baldwin (the Xes were added by Zap2it.)
On Wednesday, Baldwin joked about the alleged scuffle with Daily News photographer Marcus Santos with David Letterman, telling Dave he hadn't punched the photographer, but merely "pushed him out of the way."
"If I had punched him, I would be in jail right now, rightfully so," Baldwin tells Letterman. "I kind of pushed him out of the way because he almost hit me in the face with the camera."
Meanwhile, the New York Press Club is condemning Baldwin for the scuffle and says his "actions should not be tolerated."
