Adele pregnant: Singer and boyfriend Simon Konecki expecting first child

Adele's bad breakup might've spurred one heck of an album in the Grammy-winning "21," but the British singer will have something much happier to sing about on her next disc: Adele and boyfriend Simon Konecki are expecting their first child together.

The singer announced the news on her official blog, writing, "Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."

Konecki, a 36-year-old bottled water exec and charity head, and the 24-year-old singer have been dating for about a year. Konecki was married once before, about four years ago. This will be the first child for both.
