'The Avengers' takes $200.3 million and breaks records

"Marvel's The Avengers" has broken the opening weekend record with $200.3 million.
It beat the $169.2 million set by "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2." Superheroes beat wizards! It doesn't appear to be slowing down at all.

"Think Like a Man" wasn't even close, taking in only $8 million this weekend. The third place film "The Hunger Games" took in $5.7. It's taken in $381 million in the seven weeks it's been out, so that's hardly a bad thing. In fourth we have "The Lucky One" with $5.5 and in fifth, "The Pirates! Band of Misfits" with $5.4.

In the bottom half we have "The Five-Year Engagement" with $5.1 million in 6th, "The Raven" in seventh with $2.5. With just under $2.5, we have "Safe." The final two spots are "Chimpanzee" with $2.4 and "Cabin in the Woods" with just under $1.6.

Don't expect "The Avengers" to slow down anytime soon. It's still getting great buzz and is likely to blow the top off other records.
