Sheryl Crow forgets 'Soak Up the Sun' lyrics

Sheryl Crow is pretty much unapologetic, as well she should be, for flubbing the lyrics to her song, "Soak Up the Sun," during a live show in St. Petersburg, Florida on Saturday (May 5).

"So I'm stuck here watching TV," Crow sings before going blank, reports Spinner. "Oh what's the words? It's live, there's no tape here."

Which is kind of refreshing in an era where lots of live shows use a backing track to help the performers along.

"I'm 50, what can I say, my brain's gone to s***!"

Many singers -- including Rolling Stone Mick Jagger -- use a teleprompter to avoid just this situation from happening. We're just sayin'.
