Ray J hospitalized after Whitney Houston's family alleged clash at Billboard Music Awards

Singer/producer Ray J, who was dating Whitney Houston for the months preceding her death (the two are pictured together above, in 2008), has long clashed with the late singer's family. The latest incident was at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, when Whitney's sister-in-law Pat Houston reportedly called security on Ray J when he was seated next to Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina.

However, an insider says the family patched things up in time for the live awards show. However, now TMZ is reporting that Ray J was extremely upset about the confrontation and Monday morning (May 21) was found in his hotel room "out of it" and could not get out of bed.

Ray J was reportedly extremely disoriented and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. So far, it is presenting as a combination of exhaustion and stress. Apparently, Ray J had just flown in from a quick trip to China and then drove the four hours to Las Vegas for the Billboard Awards.
