Time to dust off your red bow tie and gray suit. The next installment of the Pee-wee Herman movie series is getting even closer.

In an interview with Collider, Paul Reubens says that the film's script is pretty much done and the project should begin shooting in the near future. It will be produced by Judd Apatow.

"We just did a very quick little rewrite on it. As far as I know, it's getting shot very soon," Reubens tells the publication.

This will be the third time Reubens has taken on the Pee-wee Herman character in a movie. He first donned the famed outfit in 1985 in "Pee-wee's Big Adventure." The sequel, "Big Top Pee-wee," came out in 1988. From 1986-90 Reubens also played Pee-wee in the award-winning TV show "Pee-wee's Playhouse."

So Zappers, are you excited to see everyone's favorite kid return to the big screen?
