Met Costume Gala 2012: NY Jet Tim Tebow makes his fashion world debut

Brand new New York Jet Tim Tebow showed up for Monday's Met Costume Institute Gala sporting a tux by Ralph Lauren Purple Label.

The meme-inspiring former Denver Bronco looked right at home surrounded by fashion royalty at the even honoring Italian designers Miuccia Prada and Elsa Schiaparelli.

When interviewed by Vogue's William Norwich (who was utterly dwarfed by Tebow), the quarterback graciously answered a series of patronizing questions, like "Did you pray before you came here tonight?"

"I pray every day," replies Tebow graciously. "I'm just so blessed and excited to be here."
