Memorial Day box office: 'Men in Black 3' on track for $70M weekend

As of Sunday (May 27), "Men in Black 3" had raked in $55 million in box office sales domestically, putting the big-budget Will Smith-led action/comedy flick on pace to snag at least $70 million for the full four-day holiday weekend, reports Box Office Mojo.

Worldwide, the news was even better -- The Wrap reports that "MiB3" took in $202 million when overseas ticket sales were factored in, including $19 million apiece in both Russia and China.

Marvel's "The Avengers" held steady in second place with $36 million in ticket sales. "Battleship" was a distant third at $11 million, followed by "The Dictator" ($9.6 million) and "Chernobyl Diaries" ($8 million).
