Melissa Etheridge and Tammy Lynn Michaels settle domestic dispute

Melissa Etheridge will pay ex-domestic partner Tammy Lynn Michaels more than the $23,000 a month she's currently getting in a new settlement that concludes a two-year court battle over child support payments.

Etheridge and Michaels will share custody of five-year-old twins Johnnie Rose and Miller Steven with adjustments made for Etheridge's touring schedule, reports TMZ.

But as the result of a court-ordered mediation, Etheridge will up the amount of money she's giving to Michaels each month. Michaels protested that she was barely scraping by while Etheridge was pulling in $177,882 each month.
