Linda Evangelista demands $46K a month in child support

Supermodel Linda Evangelista is demanding $46,000 a month in child support from baby daddy, French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault. She also claims -- in the couple's just underway child support trial -- that Pinault demanded she have an abortion when he first learned she was pregnant in early 2006.

Pinault married actress Salma Hayek in 2009 and the couple has a child together, daughter Valentina Paloma.

Augustin, Evangelista's son with Pinault, is now five-years-old and was conceived during a four-month affair in late 2005/early 2006.

"After some initial happiness, he told her he wished she would terminate the pregnancy," Evangelista's lawyer William Beslow said in court.

"She would support the child herself," Evangelista told him, "since he had made it perfectly clear to her that he had no interest in doing so," the lawyer said, reports the New York Post. "And she did. "

Now, though, Evangelista says she needs help keeping up with Auggie's bills, which include $16,000 a month for a gun-toting ex-NYPD bodyguard, chauffers and a 24-hour nanny.
