Gordon Ramsay injured in charity soccer match

gordon-ramsay-hells-kitchen-100-gi.jpgGordon Ramsay is doing just fine after being hauled off a British soccer field due to injuries sustained during a charity game on Sunday, May 27. Ramsay was playing against other stars and former pro players in Soccer Aid, a charity match that benefits UNICEF.

According to People, Ramsay was tackled by former soccer pro Teddy Sheringham during the game, which also saw Will Ferrell injure his leg. Ramsay left the Manchester, England field on a stretcher, while Ferrell exited on his own accord. Gerard Butler, Mike Meyers, Ed Norton and Woody Harrelson also played in the game.

Don't worry, though -- Ramsay is doing just fine. "Thx 4 all the messages. Out of hospital after receiving amazing care from medics at ground & hospital. Bit sore but fine," the celebrity chef/reality star wrote on his Twitter the following day.
