Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen's ex-wife, receives 12-months probation in drug case
Case closed. Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller has been sentenced to 12-months probation, this a result of her late 2011 arrest on drug charges. It was in Dec. 2011 that Mueller was busted for cocaine possession and misdemeanor assault following a bar fight in Aspen, CO. Mueller pleaded guilty to felony drug possession in order to have the other charges dismissed.
A spokesperson for the actress and reality star tells E! News, "Brooke is very glad to put this chapter of her life behind her and focus on being a great mom and making some exciting career decisions."
Should Mueller keep her nose clean for the next year, the remaining charge would be dropped.
Following the arrest, Mueller checked into rehab for two months and then began what her publicist called an "aggressive outpatient program."
