'Big Bang Theory' star Simon Helberg and Jocelyn Towne welcome a baby daughter

Simon Helberg's character on "The Big Bang Theory" may have just gotten married, but in real life, he's a little further along. He's a new dad.

Us Weekly is reporting that Helberg, who plays Howard Wolowitz on the hit sitcom, and wife Jocelyn Towne welcomed a daughter on May 8. The little one's name is Adeline.

A source tells the publication, "The family is thrilled...Simon is excited to be a father."

Helberg, 31, and Towne wed in 2007. This is the couple's first child.
