Baby koala peeks out of mom's pouch at Taipei Zoo

baby-koala-taipei-zoo.jpgThanks to the miracle of the Internet, this exists. A baby koala at the Taipei Zoo was spotted snuggling and peeking out of his mom's pouch, obviously knowing the whole world would watch and utter a collective "Awwwwwwww!" before starting to think in words like "cutez" and "babeez."

Baby koalas live in mom's pouch for about six months after birth and then another six months firmly latched on to mom's stomach or back in what is in serious contention for the cutest thing nature has ever done.

The baby marsupial was born to mom Empress and father Flynn and, estimates ZooBorns, has another month or so of pouch time to log before crawling out to hug mom's tummy.
