Young Jeezy gets shout-out from President Obama at White House Correspondents' dinner
First Jimmy Fallon and now Young Jeezy? President Barack Obama played his young-and-hip card Saturday (April 28) night at the White House Correspondents' dinner, saying he's changing things up in his second term if re-elected. "In my first term, I sang Al Green," the president says about singing a bit of "Let's Stay Together" at a fundraising event in January. "In my second term, I'm going with Young Jeezy."
Then turning to his wife, Michelle Obama, he jokes, "Michelle said, 'Yeah.' I sing that to her sometimes."
Young Jeezy wasn't at the dinner, but the rapper did tweet his reaction to the president's mention, posting, "Shout out to @BarackObama." Jeezy also tweeted, "You know they love the snowman in the white house."
Do you think we'll get to hear Obama rap if re-elected? We can only hope ...
