Whitney Houston's death: No foul play involved
The Beverly Hills Police Department has officially closed the case on Whitney Houston's death, deeming it an accidental drowning with no foul play involved, reports TMZ.Houston died on Feb. 11 in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton. The 48-year-old singer was reportedly found by an assistant lying face down in the bathtub. The L.A. County Coroner says cocaine was a contributing factor in the singer's death. TMZ reported that the coroner's report also noted the presence of a "spoon with a white crystal-like substance on it" and a "white powdery substance" in her hotel room.
In addition to cocaine, Xanax, the muscle relaxer Flexeril and allergy medication Benadryl were found in her bloodstream at the time of death.
