The Beach Boys' new single 'That's Why God Made the Radio' - Listen

The newly reunited Beach Boys -- complete with Brian Wilson -- played their first show of their 50th anniversary tour in Tucson, Ariz. April 24, where they debuted their newest single, "That's Why God Made the Radio." Yes, it has those trademark harmonies, along with some surf-y guitars and a poppy piano track. The lyrics are simplistic but catchy -- classic Beach Boys, basically.

The song begins: "Tuning in the latest star/from the dashboard of my car/cruisin' at 7/ push button heaven/capturing memories from afar/in my car."

And the chorus: "That's why God made the radio/so tune right in everywhere you go/He waved His hand/gave us rock 'n roll/the soundtrack of falling in love/That's why God made the radio."
