'The Avengers': Loki and Tony Stark face off in new clip

Two things strike us about this newly released clip from "The Avengers" featuring Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) chatting about their respective strengths.

First, Downey is an absolute natural for writer-director Joss Whedon's dialogue. In the clip (first posted by MTV) -- a longer version of the "I have an army"-"We have a Hulk" conversation featured in the movie's trailers and TV spots -- Downey captures Whedon's flippant-to-deadly serious tone effortlessly. It's a wonderful fit.

Second, we really like the fact that Tony, aka Iron Man, is wearing a Black Sabbath T-shirt. Nice touch by the costume department.
