Ted Nugent agrees to guilty plea for illegally killing bear

It's been a crazy week for rocker Ted Nugent with a visit from the Secret Service on Thursday (April 19) thanks to a comment that he would be "in jail or dead" this time next year if President Obama is reelected and now this: Nugent has agreed to a guilty plea for transporting a bear he killed illegally in Alaska in May 2009.

The Associated Press reports that Nugent signed a plea agreement with federal prosecutors that was filed Friday in U.S. District Court. The plea agreement says Nugent shot and killed the bear days after wounding a bear with a bow, which counted toward the seasonal limit of one bear. Nugent also agreed to pay the state $600.

The hunt was filmed for Nugent's Outdoor Channel television show, "Spirit of the Wild."
