'Star Trek 2': Is Benedict Cumberbatch Khan Noonien Singh?

Oh, if this is true, this is big news! Benedict Cumberbatch may very well be playing Khan Noonien Singh in "Star Trek 2!" According to  TrekMovie, sources say the "Sherlock" star may have us screaming "Khaaaaaan!"

The role of Khan, Kirk's mortal enemy, was made famous by Ricardo Montalban in the "Star Trek" episode "Space Seed," and in "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan." According to the site, the creators are using "The Dark Knight" as the model for the film, meaning that having the classic enemy (like the Joker for Batman) is important to them.
