"Ringer" star Sarah Michelle Gellar has announced that she and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. are expecting their second child. The baby will join big sister Charlotte Grace, who was born in September of 2009.

"She and Freddie are thrilled," a friend tells Us. "They're amazing parents."

Though it's unlikely that "Ringer" will be picked up for a second season, a pregnancy would certainly serve as an obstacle on such an action-heavy show -- particularly because Gellar plays twins. Prinze has joined a still-untitled NBC comedy pilot from "Community" writer Hilary Winston, which is convenient, as they've typically taken turns working.

"He loves it. We fight over who gets to stay home," Gellar recently said of Prinze staying home with Charlotte while she worked. "You'd think it would be the opposite, that the parents would be like, 'No, I'll go to work!' but he's like, 'You stayed home for two years! It's my turn!'"
